Store974 – Terms & Conditions for Using PayLater
By selecting PayLater as your payment method at checkout (in-store or online) with Store974, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Nature of the Service
1.1 PayLater is a Buy-Now-Pay-Later ("BNPL") facility provided and operated independently by PayLater (the "Provider"), regulated under the BNPL Regulations issued by the Qatar Central Bank. 1.2 By using PayLater at Store974, you are entering into a separate installment agreement directly with the Provider. Store974 is not a party to that agreement and does not extend credit itself.
2. Discounts & Promotions
No discount codes, promo codes, or any other additional discounts are applicable on orders paid using PayLater, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific campaign.
3. Eligibility & Approval
3.1 PayLater is available only to customers who meet the Provider's eligibility criteria, generally including being a Qatar resident/citizen aged 18 or above, holding a valid Qatar ID, and possessing a valid payment card registered in their name.
3.2 Approval or rejection of any PayLater application, and the credit limit assigned, is determined solely by the Provider based on its own assessment (employment status, credit history, etc.). Store974 has no influence over, and cannot override, this decision.
3.3 Standard PayLater checkout requires an initial payment followed by 3 equal monthly installments. PayLater Flexed (more than 4 installments) is available to Provider-approved customers with a credit limit above QR 4,000.
4. Fees & Charges
4.1 No interest is charged to the customer for using PayLater; installment plans are structured on a Sharia-compliant (Murabaha/Tawarruq) basis by the Provider. 4.2 Store974 does not add any surcharge for choosing PayLater as a payment method. Any late payment fees, penalties, or charges related to missed installments are governed solely by the Provider's own terms with the customer.
5. Order Confirmation & Delivery
5.1 Orders paid via PayLater are processed only once approved by the Provider.
5.2 Standard Store974 delivery and collection timelines apply to PayLater orders as they would to any other payment method.
6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
6.1 Returns and exchanges on PayLater purchases follow Store974's standard return policy.
6.2 Where a return is approved, the refund will be processed back through PayLater to adjust or cancel the customer's remaining installments, in coordination with the Provider; Store974 does not refund PayLater purchases directly in cash.
6.3 Nothing in these terms limits a customer's statutory rights under Qatar's Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008), including the right to a refund, repair, or replacement where goods are defective or do not conform to their intended purpose. Any clause purporting to remove these rights is void and without effect.
7. Data Privacy
7.1 Any personal or financial information shared with the Provider as part of the PayLater application/checkout process is collected, stored, and processed by the Provider in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law No. 13 of 2016.
7.2 Store974 does not collect, store, or have access to the customer's PayLater account credentials or full payment card details.
8. Liability
8.1 Store974 is not responsible for: (a) the Provider's approval/rejection decisions or assigned credit limits; (b) the Provider's installment collection, billing, or account management; or (c) any technical issues, delays, or errors on the Provider's app, website, or payment gateway.
8.2 The Provider's own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy govern the customer's relationship with the Provider and take precedence on matters relating to the credit facility itself.
9. Product Eligibility
Store974 reserves the sole right to determine which products or product categories are eligible for purchase using PayLater, and may include or exclude any item from the facility at its discretion, at any time and without prior notice.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes relating specifically to the PayLater credit facility should be raised directly with the Provider; disputes relating to the product or Store974's own service may be raised with Store974 or the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Consumer Protection Department.
