Overall, the build was okay.
However, two issues when I got it on Day 1:
- one of the RAM sticks was defective out of the box (wasn’t being detected by both Windows and BIOS). For something that was pre-built, I was expecting that all the hardware and software were properly checked and tested prior to delivery. For something as simple as a RAM stick, it was disappointing that it came dead-on-arrival. What’s more disappointing is that not all branches carries stocks of their items. I had to wait an extra day for the RAM kit replacement to arrive. That was a very disappointing experience.
- second issue was the remote control for the RGB of the Xigmatek 240 Liquid Cooler was missing when the PC was delivered to me. Again, makes me question the level of quality control. Good thing the technician at the Gate Mall branch had an extra remote on hand.
