My PC would not switch on. I brought it to 974 so they could safely find the problem and make the necessary repairs. Also: I requested that they please deep-clean and replace the thermal paste as it was almost a year since I had last done so. (974 staff previously advised me to change this every year).
Almost 2 weeks later, the phone me to fetch the PC. They told me there was no problem - the PC switched on normally with them. They then told me no deep-cleaning was necessary as the PC was not very dirty. They also told me there was no need to change the thermal paste as the PC was not over-heating.
So in the end - they did not need to do any of the things I requested. Yet, I still got charged 200QAR. 200QAR for what? Just a light cleaning and a diagnostic test that found no problems?
I will think twice before using this service in the future.
